Reducing Wrinkles And Looking Younger With Ease

When most of us have a little look in the mirror, our skin is a little older, not as firm and has a few wrinkles around our mouth and eyes. This is what happens when we get older and don't really put the effort into taking care of our skin.

Keeping your face wrinkle free is hard to do, but there are some things that we can do to help reduce wrinkles and keep them from getting so bad.

First and foremost, drink plenty of water, this keeps your skin hydrated and soft. When you leave water out of your diet, your skin is the first place that shows it. It dries out, so drink those eight to ten glasses of water a day. Manufacturers have even made it easy for those of us who dislike the taste of water. You can mix the small powdered mixes into the bottle and the water taste like lemonade or fruit punch, maybe even grape would be good. You can also add a little lemon or lime juice to your water when you go out to eat.

Take your vitamins! Take a trip to the health food store and check out the vitamin section. Look for one that's a multi vitamin with everything in it, including the kitchen sink, so to speak. Make sure you have vitamin C, E, A, K and B complex. Put all these together and you have a healthy skin cocktail. The vitamins give your skin its daily dose of life.

Next, stay out of the sun and tanning beds. Both will dry your skin out. You may have a nice beautiful glow to your skin, but the risk of wrinkles and skin cancer go up by 300%. If you like to stay outdoors, make sure you use a sixty SPF sunscreen to protect your beautiful skin.

Say, you already have a few wrinkles, just a few and need to do something about them. There are over the counter creams that are fillers, which can be used to make the wrinkles appear to go away. They really don't go away, they just look better. Now is the time to start using the things suggested above to keep your wrinkles from getting any worse.

If you have a few more wrinkles, there are things like Botox or collagen injections that a dermatologist can use to make your wrinkles to go away. The chemical is injected just under the skin along the wrinkle line. The only issue with these products is, they are not permanent, and you will have to keep going back several times to keep the wrinkles away.

Last but not least, is plastic surgery. This is the most expensive way to go and the most dramatic. The cost is high, but the results are very good. These procedures are performed by a plastic surgeon and you should be very picky about which one you chose. This also should be considered as a last result only.
