An Endless Stream of Riches

Like a city that never sleeps, the activity of life is sometimes hectic, sometimes heroic, sometimes erratic, often mundane, but always and forever in unyielding motion - constant change. If you seek prosperity in life - master change - seek the source to an endless stream of riches.

When confronted with change, almost any change, people frequently bemoan the prospect. The first response to change is often resistance. The only thing people like better than the way things are, is the way things were. People suffer much discomfort knowing the world is one big storehouse of surprises. As Winston Churchill once observed of life, "Its one damned thing after another." Life simply is change. There is no sense resisting it, fighting it, hiding from it - just accept - life is change - that's the way it is.

Life is in motion. We are in motion. Atoms are moving, molecules are moving, cells are moving, anatomical systems are moving. Air flows, water flows, heat flows, environmental systems flow. The earth is spinning while hurtling through space. The entire solar system and galaxy are in motion. The universe is expanding at an enormous rate. If we could calculate the speed - it would be staggering.

The processes of life can be characterized as birth (springing to life anew), growth (realizing inherent potential), death (peaking and declining), and ultimately decay. Then, on the infinite scale of time - in a heartbeat - the process begins again. Everything is moving through a cycle.

In economic terms life is a series of recurring cycles of demand and supply - of wants and needs. Einstein theorized and quantum physics verified - matter is energy, and energy is in motion. So, accepting money as a measure of a form of matter, we see money, like all things, is in constant motion. Money flows like a stream. The key to experiencing untold bounty is intercepting the stream. And ultimately, the motion of that stream is a function of human desire. Where desire flows, so pours endless riches.

This world grows smaller and more integrated. Technological development and social processes are collaborating to "accelerate" life and "shrink" our world. We are connecting with people all over the globe while at the same time falling victim to an ever increasing pace of messages, transactions and competition. Opportunities inspire, while clutter overwhelms. Showered with choices people everywhere attempt to manipulate the flow - that is the difficult choice.

Desires are insatiable. No bottom exists to the well-spring of desires. For every desire satisfied a new one fills its place. Money is constantly in motion to meet desire. Desires are a means of expressing life. Find the pinnacle, the apex of the money flow by finding the means to fulfill desires - therein lies the endless stream of riches.

As all things strive to grow to their fullest beauty and majesty, develop their fullest expression, and realize their fullest potential, the flow is unlimited. Life is hardwired to grow - to be and become - to move. The means by which human beings are influenced to act, to grow - to be and become - is by way of desire. Desire motivates, desire moves. Desire makes the stream.

The means to untold riches and ultimate fulfillment is not to try to bend the stream to your will, but will to bend to the stream. Go with the flow to realize an endless stream of riches.
