6 P's of a Successful Teleclass

Hosting a teleclass series is one of the most effective ways to attract more customers, increase web traffic and build credibility with your target audience. When you provide valuable content to an audience who is in search of the topic you are teaching, you have the ability to increase your odds of not only solving a business challenge for them but converting that listener to a client. Whether you are offering a free teleclass or a paid teleseminar, you want to ensure that you focus on the 6 P's to a successful teleclass:

1.Planning

The first step is to sit down and plan out what exactly you want to teach during your teleclass. At this step, you don't need the nuts and bolts, just enough to create a sales page that informs your potential audience what exactly they will learn from your program. This is the most important step that you want to make sure you focus on so your teleclass is a success.

2.Promote

Next, you want to start to promote your program using a variety of traditional marketing: Direct mail, networking, advertising etc.. and new marketing: Social media, forums, blogs, on line newsletters etc... You need to select a minimum of 3 different tactics and start your promotion at least 3 weeks out, sometimes 6 if you are promoting a large program. One of your most successful methods will be partnering. Find others who already sell into your demographic and offer them an incentive to become an affiliate with you.

3.Prepare

At this stage, you need to put together your thoughts and you need to put them down on paper either in an outline or a script. Basically, you need to plan out what exactly you want to say and how you want your information to flow. The best method is to plan your introduction, speak freely about your intentions and identify the key points or messages you want your audience to leave your program with and script out your transitions and closing. Don't forget about your call to action and weaving it by planting "seeds' throughout your presentation.

4.Present

Now it is time to deliver your teleclass. It is important to master presentation skills and learn techniques that will make your program a success. Using your voice as a tool and managing pitch, rate and tonality will help keep your audience engaged. Using a strong opening or an emotional story will help your audience to connect with you. Lastly, practice your delivery and over time, you will become a power presenter!

5.Package

Following up with your audience is key! Not to mention using your material to create other products. In business it is all about leverage and learning how to use your materials, systems and knowledge in multiple ways.

6.Profit

The key to every business program is to make money!! Whether you are using your program to attract new customers into larger programs by offering your content free or using your program as a revenue tool, bottom line is to track its success and leverage everything to make more products and more money.
