The World Cup 2010 in soccer has already started and the soccer lovers have taken their places in front of the TV, watching and supporting their favorite teams with enthusiasm. The bolder ones have started betting on games and predicting what country will lift the World Cup this year. Who do you think will win the world cup 2010?
There are a few teams considered favorites for the final and the cup since early 2010, once the qualifying rounds ended. Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Germany and England are the top 5 favorites, although it seems that there are a few strong outsiders such as France, Italy and the Netherlands ready to take advantage of shock losses of their opponents and rivals.
Brazil is the all time favorite team; packed with numerous talented players such as Kaka, Brazil seems ready to do what it is expected. Reach the final and lift the cup. After all, Brazilians live and breathe for soccer, therefore they came to the World cup as the absolute favorite. Players with tons of money in their pockets and fame want to take their national team into new heights and restore its position to the top of the world. Thumbs up for Brazil, it might win the World Cup 2010.
Argentina is one of the best teams at the moment. Ready to deal with huge opponents, in great emotional and physical condition, Argentina has the most renowned coach: Maradona participates in one more World Cup, as a coach this time, bringing a new aura to the team. Argentina is blessed with some of the best players in the world, such as Lionel Messi and Veron, but no one is still convinced that it has what it takes to outdo Brazil or Spain.
England is one of the teams that always have a great roster and rarely does something really good in World Cups. The team has to put lot of effort and apply the best possible strategy, working with perfect planning in each and every game if it wants to win the World Cup 2010. It doesn't lack good and talented players, but it seems it lacks luck and determination when it comes to beating its great opponents.
Germany is always a serious team with great organizational skills and determination. German players are not as imaginative as Brazilians, not as excited as Argentineans, but they are definitely the most serious and dedicated players. Rarely will you see Germany being indifferent in a game and this is what has taken this team to so many World Cup finals so far. Will it make it and win the World Cup 2010 this year? Probably it will reach the semis, but we will see how high it can go this time, since Brazil and Spain are already preparing for the final.
Spain is one of the most promising teams to win the World Cup 2010. It has a great roster, with amazing players such as Xavi, Torres, Fabregas and Iniesta but it all depends on if it will find the concentration it needs to deal with so many good opponents.
