Information To Incorporate Into Your Website Footer

If you have a business that you run on the Internet, then it is essential that you are able to create a website. This is one of the most essential pieces of your online business because this is how people will become your customers as well as get to know you. There are many different parts that go into a website. If you check out any site on the Internet, you will notice that they will all have a footer. This is where a lot of essential information for you site and your company will be kept. There is a lot of information that you will have to make sure that you are able to incorporate into your website footer design.

One of the pieces of information that you will have to make sure to incorporate into your footer design is a site map. When potential customers go to your website, they will want to be able to find the pages that they are looking for quickly. Even though you probably already have a site map somewhere at the top of your site, visitors to your site may find it difficult to find exactly what they are looking for. This is why it is a good idea for you to incorporate a site map at the bottom of your site as well. If you do not want to put a site map into your footer, then you should at least make sure that you have a link to the site map there. This is a wonderful idea if you find that your site map will take up a large amount of space in your footer.

Another essential piece of you website footer should be your contact information. If visitors would like to reach you by email, phone, or address, typically they will scroll down to the bottom of your site in order to locate this information. Just as with the site map, if you would like to keep your footer small, then you should create a page that will have all of your website information on it, and include a link in your footer.

In order for you to be able to grow your business, it is a good idea for you to send out a newsletter to your visitors every so often. One of the best ways that you can go about this is by adding a newsletter sign up box somewhere in the footer of your website. You do not want this space to ask your visitors to have to type a lot of information. Basically, you should just have a space where they will be able to enter their email address if they are interested in receiving your company's newsletter.
