7 Things Christians Should Do Everyday

To be closer to Jesus Christ would require you to build your faith way to the top. Living a Christian life is living a life with the Holy God. It takes a lot of effort, patience and perseverance to keep a life of perfection. Every day is another day with God, taking every step of the way requires a godly journey. Listed are 7 things a Christian should do every day.

1. Start your day with a prayer spend at least 20 minutes one-on-one with God. Give thanks for his glory and the gift of life. Speak to him about everything, let him know about your plan of the day and acknowledge him as you start another journey. Have faith and let go of your worries, through him all will go well.

2. Read the bible. His words are our spiritual food; make it a habit to read it every day. By reading his scriptures it gives you a glowing day, a sense of direction and the wisdom of choosing the right path. Through this, you have invited God to act unto you on his most gracious way.

3. Share the word of God. Sharing is one way of living his dominion; have his word spread to everyone. Let them be aware that God died for our sins that sins may be forgiven that all who trust in him will be given peace and eternal life to heaven.

4. Avoid the temptations of evil. Do your best to slum the doors of sins and temptations. Be careful of what you say to other people, you might cause them pain. By doing so you become stronger in the arms of God and experience the real spiritual growth abiding by his laws and principles.

5. Treat others as you would want them to treat you. The trade mark of Christianity. Be kind to those who are unkind to you, set an example for them for you are the representative of Christian faith.

6. Help the needy. God wants us to give a hand to those who are hungry and oppress. Share the blessing that was bestowed upon us to the less fortunate. As he had pointed In Matthew 25:34-40, Jesus tells us that we are to give food to those who are hungry, give clothes to people who need them, provide shelter for people who have none, visit people who are sick, and give comfort to people who are in prison.

7. Learn to forgive. God has forgiven men for their sins so as who have sinned against you learn to forgive with open heart and with no hurt feelings left. If you do not learn to forgive, God will not forgive you also.

Be one of the disciples of God and live a life by his will and you shall be saved from the burning fires of hell. Obey God and God will do the rest. Walk his path and have a wonderful journey in life.
