Who wants to be Bella when you can be Jane or Victoria? Here's how to use your eye makeup products to look like your favorite Twilight baddie!
In The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, due in theaters at the end of this month, the tiny town of Forks, Washington, is invaded by an army of newborn vampires. As if that weren't trouble enough, our heroine Bella Swan has the vampire ruling class, The Volturi, after her to see if she's still human or if she's joined the undead like her vampire boyfriend, Edward Cullen.
While moviegoers will be rooting for Bella and her friends to win out over both factions, Twilight fans know the real fun lies with the bad vampires. Who wants to be good when characters like Victoria and Jane make being bad look so much fun?
Here's how to get an eye makeup look just like your favorite Twilight baddie!
Jane of the Volturi Jane's not just a vampire. She's got the ability to cause a person pain with just one glance. Played wickedly by Dakota Fanning, Jane looks deceptively like an innocent young girl while harboring the ability to burn you where you stand.
Jane's look is classic gothic vampire. While we're not suggesting you break out the red contact lenses (well, maybe for Halloween), Jane's eye makeup product look is heavy on the blacks and greys. You can embrace her look by using a soft grey shadow in your eyelid crease, then a darker, more intense grey on the lid. Be sure to extend both colors out just a bit beyond your eye's natural outer corner. Smudge a bit of the darker grey just below your lash line on your bottom lid.
Finish off the look with plenty of black eyeliner, making sure to keep the line heavy both above and below both lids and extending it out like you did with the shadow. Do several coats of a volumizing mascara on both sets of lashes. Keep the rest of your look simple for that deathly pale pallor.
Victoria While she may be a vampire, Victoria's look is a little more earthy. A nomad by nature, Victoria, played in the new film by Bryce Dallas Howard, spends most of the saga hunting down Bella to avenge the death of her lover James. For her, this means tromping through the Pacific Northwest, hiding in the woods and sometimes even the ocean itself.
To get this earth-bound vamp's look, choose eye makeup products that are a little more low intensity than what we saw on Jane. A shadow in a soft pink or peach on both the upper and lower lids coupled with brown liner and mascara will give you that "haven't-slept-in-decades-yet-I'm-still-beautiful" look. Pair with a pink lipstick translucent face powder. Kick it up a notch to get her movie poster look by swapping out the brown liner and mascara for black instead. Bonus points if you're a redhead!
