However, between northern and southern Mexico, note that there are some wide and open spaces. If you are sticking to the beaches, this is not really an issue. Its just wise to consider driving times, distances, and places that have hotels available so you don't end up driving all night looking for a hotel. This is supposed to be a vacation after all!
