Mailing List for Affiliate Marketers

Have you heard so much about affiliate marketing that now you would like to make a living from it? Or have you just been considering it and have no idea how to start? Well, I am here to tell you how to get started.

For starters, you need to build your own mailing list. You can't make a living from affiliate marketing if you don't have people to market to.

I am not going to say that building a list is going to be easy or free. You can dive traffic to your squeeze page, which will build your mailing list, but driving the traffic is gonna cost you. You can either choose to pay for it with "money" or with "time". But one way or another, you have to pay for it.

Once you have a mailing list of buyers, you can look no further than your computer when you need money. Turn your computer into your ATM. :)

Once you've built a large and responsive mailing list, you can make sales from affiliate programs very quickly. With just a click of a button you can see streams of money just pouring in within the next few hours or even minutes. It can be one of the biggest streams of income you generate.

Don't get me wrong, you can also generate a significant income without having a HUGE mailing list. However, it will determine on the kind of list you have. Is the majority of your list freebie seekers or buyers? There are many people out there who may not have the biggest mailing lists but seem to compete with some of the "guru's" out there. Why is this? It's because their list is a great list. They've gained trust from their subscribers which makes their subscribers very willing to purchase something they are promoting.

If your list doesn't trust you, then you will have a high percentage of them unsubscribe to your mailing list. You won't mind unsubscribes from non-buyers, but you will mind unsubscribes from any of your buyers.

Be sure to take care of your mailing list. This means if you are going to participate in an affiliate program, make sure that it is something you full endorse. Maybe a service or product that you use, or maybe something that you have researched and truly believe in. By doing this, your subscribers will be grateful and will believe that you are looking out for their best interest.

Remember, people don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care.
