Shadow - Everyone knows the smoky eye look is hot right now. But girls in the know understand it doesn't have to be just overpowering greys and blacks.

The key to a really sexy smoky eye is to tailor your eye makeup products to your individual eye color. For example, if you're a hazel, you'll want to try more down-to-earth tones like greens or browns.

With brown liner and mascara, these colors can look just as sexy and striking as your typical blacks. Just be sure and take the shadow just beyond your natural eye area on the outside corners and dab just a bit below your lower lash line.

Liner - Nighttime is the perfect opportunity to go a bit bold. If you're a fan of liquid liner, this is your moment to shine. It takes a bit of coordination, but a liquid can go on thicker and bolder than a pencil.

The key is to keep your hand steady. If you need help, try propping your elbow up on a piece of high furniture. Once you've got it down, try making the line a bit thicker until you reach va-va-voom status. For a twist, tilt the end of the line up just a bit at your eyes' outer corners.
