Get Your Large Format Banners Ready: Tips For Trade Show Success

Trade shows are the ultimate way to network with other businesses and market yourself to potential customers. Statistics from industry surveys show that 79 percent of customers attend shows to help them make up their mind about what to purchase and 70 percent intend to purchase at least one product. But regardless of these impressive numbers, if you aren't using the right techniques to properly position yourself to attract attention at tradeshows, then you're wasting valuable time and money because you're not going to attract any attention.

Graphics:

You're going need to large format banners and tradeshow banner stands indefinitely. But just having a banner isn't enough, you're going to need to have eye-catching graphics printed professionally and artfully on these items. If you think about it, you only have 3 seconds to impress passerby's—your potential customers. With that taken into consideration, you're going to need simple yet bold graphics for your large format banners and trade show banner stands. It's sometimes hard to find that delicate balance between boldness and simplicity. But it truly is important: If there is too much going on and doesn't grab the attendees right away, they'll get bored and venture off to a display that has a straightforward and easy to digest message.

Lighting:

Lighting is very important if you're looking to draw attention to certain products that you're displaying. Lighting can really enhance the mood of your booth and is a great way to draw attention directly to key areas of your trade show banner stands.

Music:

Trade shows can be a little bit on the sensory overload side for attendees and in turn, they can get a little stressed out. To counter that, you can lighten the mood by playing some soothing music. You can even consider using things like nature sounds or other gentle sounds to draw people over to your booth and rouse their curiosity.

Booth Design:

One of the biggest pet peeves of many trade show attendees is that the exhibits really don't have enough space to accommodate a lot of traffic. You may miss out on valuable sales opportunities because there simply isn't enough room for every interested party. There are many companies out there that specialize in crafting the perfect trade show displays. All in all, it would be beneficial for you to choose a booth set up that is easy to assemble and take apart, and provides enough room for all prospective customers.

Literature Racks:

If you have any brochures or pamphlets about your product or company, putting them in an easy to reach literature rack is a great idea. If you don't have enough room for literature racks in your booth without crowding it, then skip them and just be sure to have enough material that the potential customers can take with them as a means to contact someone. Another tip is to always have business cards attached to any material and have some ready on a table as a quick way for someone have means to contact your company if they're ready to do business.
